Originally from St. John, a small spec of an island in the Caribbean. I left after high school in search of greater horizons and opportunities — yet desperately trying to retain my Caribbean roots. Throughout my college career, first as a journalist, then as a communicator I’ve struggled to find my niche; from writing for a small-town newspaper to producing televised college sports games.
I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. That all changed when I started my Master’s program in Integrated Marketing Communications. It finally clicked. Learning how to integrated different channels of communications through different medias represented a new realm of exciting challenges. Nothing is more rewarding than creating a great marketing campaign that maximizes all forms of communications and medias to inspire people.
I am deeply interested in all facets of a marketing campaign; whether it’s the creative, media relations, event planning, public relations, advertising, social media, digital, new media, etc.
